We are happy to have you be a part of the 2017 Mardi Gras season. It has been a family tradition for many of you celebrating Mardi Gras with us. Premium Parking Service would like to take this opportunity to say Thank You for your patronage!


Stand builders are not allowed to begin building until the designated times mentioned below. If you wish to begin building on Wednesday morning at 7:00 a.m. a fee of $200 will be required before building. Any stand builder found on the property before Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. without a permit, will forfeit their space and it will be up for sale in 2018.


Only written consent from Sterling Chauvin, COO, will allow stand builders to be on the property prior to Wednesday as indicated above.


Stand Building Access

Stand builders at P156 (801 St. Charles Street) are allowed to begin building on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 after 7:00 p.m.

Stand builders will have partial access to the parking lot on Thursday, February 23, 2017 beginning at 6:00 a.m. and ending at 3:00 p.m. Please make your builders aware of the end time.

Please notify your stand builders to pay for parking, all vehicles on the parking lot must have a valid parking ticket for parking or will be subject to immobilization and additional fines.

Permits must be placed in each motorized vehicle, more than one motorized vehicle per space is prohibited.

When building your stand do not leave materials in adjacent spaces.

Stand builders at P156 (801 St. Charles Street) must be set and completely in place by 7:00 a.m. Friday, February 24, 2017.


Full Access Load In

 

P133 – 901 Magazine Street

RV access load in will begin Friday, February 24, 2017 at 7:00 a.m.*

P156 – 801 St. Charles Avenue

1st row can begin moving in Thursday, February 23, 2017 and must be set in place by 7:00 p.m. You cannot occupy more than 50 feet into the parking lot.

RV parking spaces 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26 will begin load in Friday,

February 24, 2017 at 8:00 a.m.*

RV parking spaces 10, 11, 12, and 13 will begin load in Friday, February 24, 2017 at 8:00 a.m.*

RV parking spaces 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 19A, and 27 will begin load in Friday, February 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.*

Parking Permits

 

Stand builders will receive one complimentary parking permit for a motorized vehicle that is valid for five days.

You may purchase Multi- day permits for $275.00. Daily parkers have no in/out privileges.

Each vehicle must have a valid permit at all times. Permits are not transferrable.

You will be asked to provide your vehicle and license plate information when you pick up your parking permit.

If you would like to purchase additional permits, please submit the vehicle and license plate information for the other vehicles.

Any vehicle without a permit will be subject to booting. The booting fee is $90.00 plus the cost of unpaid parking.


Safety and Sanitation

 

The City of New Orleans requires us to take proper safety and sanitary measures. For it we have decided to change port-o-let regulations and ask you to take note of the following:

Bringing and having access to a fire extinguisher.

Having a First Aid Kit handy.

Tapping wires and cables properly to the ground.

Having exhaust vents for generators and keeping them out of reach from water.

Port-o-let permits will be issued for a cost of $25 for five days (Thursday-Tuesday). Permits must be presented during load-in and displayed on exterior of port-o-let throughout Mardi Gras. Port-o-lets must be out of the lots by Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 6:00 a.m. or will be subject to additional fees.


Clean Up

 

Stand builders must remove all fallen nails and debris from the parking lot.

All trash and debris must be cleared from the parking lots by Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at

6:00 a.m.

A $500 clean up fee will be charged to your account if Premium Parking has to pay for the cleanup of your space. If this fee is not paid within 30 days, you will forfeit your Mardi Gras space for 2018.


Insurance

 

All parties will adhere to the insurance requirements outlined in detail HERE


All parties understand that they shall provide proper proof of insurance and add Premium Parking and Owners as additionally insured as well as waiver of subrogation in favor of Premium Parking and Owners.

Payment


Customers who wish to pay with a check should make it payable to Premium Parking.

Customers who wish to pay with credit card should contact accounting@premiumparking.com.  They will submit a link to pay.

A 50% deposit of total cost is due by October 15, 2016 and it is non-refundable.

Full payment is due by February 10, 2016.

If you cancel your space before December 1, 2016, we will refund 50% of your full payment. Cancellations after December 1, 2016 are non-refundable.
